The cow must be raised on a farm. Some may live on grass while others live in small feedlots spaces.
Farmers may alter the genetics of the cows so they grow faster, and grow more meat. The technology used isn't at the stage where we can alter the genetics of all our animals. We also don't know if there will be any long term side effects to the genetic altered cows. |

Factors like food, living conditions, and treatment all depend on the price and quantity the farmer wants to sell, and the buyer. |
